This month i decided to celebrate Bob Marley's birthday, even though I'm almost too late.
He was born February 6, 1945.
If you dont already know, he's internationally recognized as the Godfather of reggae.
Marley's best known songs include "I Shot the Sheriff", "No Woman, No Cry", "Exodus", "Could You Be Loved", "Stir It Up", "Jamming", "Redemption Song", "One Love" and, together with The Wailers, "Three Little Birds","Buffalo Soldier" and "Iron Lion Zion".
In July 1977, Marley found out that he had cancer in his big right toe "Marley refused amputation, because of the Rastafari belief that the body must be "whole." He died at the age of 36. He would have been 64 this year.
